Security: we do not one the cam vandalized. Electricity: both the cam and its modem are running on house current. Communication: need a phone line. There is the possibility of a longer lens. Even with a longer lens I doubt if you would be able to tell much about the parking lot. The parking lot might be screened by brush and/or a hillside. The next time we go out there, we'll check where else we might be able to aim it and evaluate whether we can improve on its present setting.
