I’m looking forward to visiting Baylands today and hearing everyone celebrate this special holiday, popularized by Dave Barry.

As for me, I can manage an “Arrr” or two, but that’s the extent of my pirate vocabulary.

For next year, I’ll try to find a stuffed parrot to mount on the shoulder of my flying vest.
